Straight answers about what Orbital OS does, the free trial, and who it's for.
What is Orbital OS?
Orbital OS is software that helps you find and fix what's holding your business back. It checks how your business runs across seven key areas — purpose, people, day-to-day operations, your numbers, leadership routines, delegation, and growth — then gives you a clear score, a prioritized list of what to fix first, and simple tools to track your numbers, record decisions, and hand off work so the business runs without you.
Who is Orbital OS for?
It is built for founders, operators, and fractional COOs running small to mid-sized businesses that have outgrown ad hoc processes. If the business still depends on the founder for day-to-day decisions, Orbital OS gives you a structured way to systemize operations and reduce that dependency.
How does the maturity assessment work?
You answer a short set of guided questions for each of the seven modules. Orbital OS scores each module and maps its operating systems to one of five maturity levels — Grounded, Emerging, Structured, Integrated, or Autonomous — then surfaces the specific gaps holding the business back and recommends the highest-leverage next actions. Business lifecycle stage is tracked separately in the organization profile.
How much does Orbital OS cost?
Orbital OS has four plans. Free includes core visibility for one organization with read-only modules. OS Pro is $199 per month per organization and unlocks full editing, unlimited KPIs, maturity assessments, the recommendation engine, integrations (Stripe, Slack, Teams, and inbound data ingestion), and the compliance audit log. Enterprise adds SSO, advanced permissions, custom onboarding, white-glove support, and advanced analytics for teams operating at scale. Consulting is our premium implementation path — fixed-price assessment and build engagements plus monthly advisory, with the software included. Enterprise and Consulting are available by contacting our sales team, and every new organization starts with a 7-day free trial of OS Pro.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new organization automatically gets 7 days of full OS Pro access with no credit card required. When the trial ends, the organization drops to the Free plan rather than locking you out, so you never lose access to your data.
What are the seven operational modules?
Mission (purpose, vision & strategy), Crew (people, roles & culture), Flight Systems (core operations & processes), Telemetry (metrics, data & visibility), Mission Control (leadership rhythm & governance), Autopilot (automation & delegation), and Continuous Orbit (growth, resilience & renewal). Together they cover every operational system a business needs to run reliably.
How is Orbital OS different from EOS or other operating systems?
Instead of a book-and-binder framework, Orbital OS is software that keeps measuring how your business is doing, turns it into a score, and tells you what to fix first. It brings your checkup, your key numbers, your decisions, and your delegation into one dashboard, so you can see real progress over time instead of running a static process.
Can Orbital OS connect to my other tools?
Yes, on OS Pro. Orbital OS pulls revenue straight from Stripe and can bring in numbers from almost any tool — accounting, CRM, product analytics, and more — through Zapier, n8n, or a simple secure webhook, so your dashboard shows real data instead of hand-entered figures. Every connection records who owns the data and flags when a source goes stale, and Orbital OS sends alerts to Slack and Microsoft Teams when a number slips off track or a new recommendation lands.
